AirAsia is enhancing its route network between Malaysia and Indonesia with its first route to Labuan Bajo, Indonesia.


The Malaysia-based AirAsia announced the new route – between Kuala Lumpur and Labuan Bajo – will start on September 3 with three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday).


Located on the western end on the island of Flores in the Indonesian province of East Nusa Tenggara, Labuan Bajo is home to the Komodo National Park and Pink Beach.


The new route to Labuan Bajo will be the AirAsia Group's 24th route between Malaysia and Indonesia. AirAsia Malaysia operates 13 routes, and Indonesia AirAsia also operates 11 routes between the two countries.
